A 5-course culinary experience across three unique locations. From an amuse-bouche to the main course and dessert.
The culinary walk includes visits to three carefully selected locations in Izola, where you will enjoy a 5-course menu consisting of an amuse-bouche, cold starter, warm starter, main course with a side dish, and dessert. Each location offers wine pairing, while the entire experience includes the organization and coordination of the evening so that you can fully enjoy this culinary journey without worries.
The experience lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours at a relaxed pace, allowing you to enjoy every course and a pleasant walk between locations. The route leads through the picturesque old town of Izola, past the small harbor and along the seaside, where stories of fishing tradition, Venetian heritage, and the modern Mediterranean spirit intertwine.
Along the way, you can discover many attractions – from the views near the Church of St. Mary of Aliets to the lively harbor, hidden streets, and the seaside promenade, offering a perfect ending to the evening at sunset.
The Culinary Walk is not only a tasting of local specialties but a complete experience of Izola – through flavors, stories, and views.

The evening begins in an intimate wine setting, highlighting carefully selected wines from local and wider Slovenian wine regions. You will be welcomed with an introductory glass of wine, setting the tone for the entire evening. Sommeliers and the team will gladly present the characteristics, origin, and story of the selected wine.
The walk continues to one of Izola’s most authentic taverns, where tradition meets a modern approach. At Gostilna Bujol, you will enjoy a cold starter prepared from fresh local ingredients and Mediterranean flavors. The dishes reflect the proximity of the sea and seasonality, while the wine pairing highlights every flavor and texture.
The experience concludes by the sea, where an elegant restaurant with a marina view awaits. Here, the culinary story continues with a warm starter and a main course combining modern techniques and local ingredients. A refined dessert follows for a sweet and elegant ending.
