we would like to inform you that we are facing some construction works in the area of the port in front of the hotel. The works are scheduled to end in Summer 2022.
The current works, commissioned by the municipality of Izola, include the rise of the rockery and the installation of nine floating piers for the needs of fishing vessels. The need to raise the breakwater is due to climate change and related changes in water levels, the settlement of the current rockery and ensuring greater flood safety of the city as well as protection of vessels in the mandrac from weather phenomena such as tramontana and lebič.
